The VA.gov user base is unique: generational cohorts of former service members with the widest range of abilities. The flagship website of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, VA.gov is the digital "front door" to access Veterans' benefits and services. Its clear mission is to serve everyone, and its guiding principle is to design with Veterans rather than for Veterans. We informed our tool and service design by involving Veterans in every phase of development.
