  • Winning government work often requires successfully navigating a competitive technical challenge. The Department of Veteran Affairs Veteran-Facing Services Applications (VSA) contract included a "hackathon" component centered on building a working prototype—from concept to completion—in one simulated sprint. Our challenge team took a human-centered design approach and opted for an accessibility-foremost, mobile-first strategy.
